Where is Rocky Hollow Farm?

The Mittleiders began Rocky Hollow Farm in Kuna, Idaho over 40 years ago. The farm is a short half hour drive from the Boise, ID airport and 45 minutes from downtown Boise. They have been cultivating both the landscape and the business to create a best in class equestrian facility.

Never Short on Beautiful Sunsets.

Rocky Hollow Farm features 5 separate, several-acre fields used both for turn out and cross country jumping, two barns with spacious stalls, an extra large outdoor arena, an indoor arena, a 1/3 of a mile gallop track, and countless portable and permanent cross country fences of all levels.

Rainbows? We’ve got ‘em.

Kuna storms bring Rocky Hollow Farm lots of rainbows.

Rocky Hollow Farm wasn’t always beautiful…

The terrain here in SouthWest Idaho, is high desert. When Gary and Brenda first homesteaded here in 1980, the land was barren with weeds, lava rock and lots of dust. It doesn’t rain here sometimes from June till October. Summers are hot and dry and winters are cold and wet.

We have 4 seasons of Idaho weather and Rocky Hollow Farm is up and running year round for riding.

Admittedly, sometimes the improvements are forced, like when a
high desert wind wreaks havoc, but days around Rocky Hollow
without some kind of project going on are few and far between.
